Background: Name recognition was not a problem for this freshman in his first campaign for the General Assembly. His brother is John B. Larson, the congressman and former state Senate leader. And Tim Larson was the popular mayor of solidly Democratic East Hartford for eight years. After a three-year break, he is back in politics.
